Hi, I'm Mark Johnson. I was born abroad to a military family and grew up all over the world so traveling and exploring comes naturally.

After several years of post graduate work at the University of Texas I moved to Dallas and worked as a commercial and illustrative photographer.

I was a nationally recognized illustration photographer. Some of my clients have included Coca Cola, Coors Brewing, Greyhound Bus Company , Amalie Oil, Mesa Oil. My images have appeared in Time Magazine, NewsDay Newspaper, Texas Monthly, D-Magazine.

I sold my business in 1993 and started an online publishing news site.
Today photography is for myself. I am a journeyman creator. I am able to again travel the world visiting those glorious places and people. Ultimately, we are all tourists on the planet. Let's enjoy!
